Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with CNC machine experience required for a precision engineering manufacturer based in south Leicester.  This is an expanding business with an exciting opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious Maintenance Engineer offering the following incentives:

£46K – £50K + Cash quarterly bonus scheme
37 Hours per week – 3 shifts (Early and Lates, Nights) No weekends

This role offers an opportunity for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to further enhance the capabilities within the department. The position will enable the individual to immerse themselves into a team of skilled and experienced Engineers, whilst using their experience to help drive the engineering department forward.

Role Purpose:

  • Support the Operations function of the facility by attending machine / equipment breakdowns and working on facility improvements.
  • Improve the reliability of key machines by taking a pro-active approach to preventative maintenance activities.

Additional requirements to support your role:

  • Experience of providing maintenance support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proven shift based Mechanical & Electrical maintenance experience
  • Experience of CNC machines Centres, in particular Siemens and Fanuc
  • Proven experience in AC / DC servo drives
  • Strong diagnostic / Problem solving skills
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic experience gained from a multi -killed environment
  • Formal qualification or equivalent in the maintenance field
  • 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification
  • Experience of CNC machining Centres, Such as Haas, Heidenhain or Mazak
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute in a team environment
  • Ability to share knowledge with other team members
  • Cope with complexity and to achieve goals within demanding deadlines
  • Work closely with other areas of the business and an understanding of the support maintenance
  • Willing and able to contribute to the development of the company through involvement in continuous improvement projects / activities
  • Willingness and drive to actively endorse and promote excellent standards of work and health and safety compliance.
