Quality Engineer required for precision engineering manufacturer based near Leeds, West Yorkshire. Our client is a market leader in precision engineering components for the power generation and aerospace industries. Due to expansion, they require an additional Quality Engineer to join their quality engineering repartment.   Skills/Qualities: Experience gained from a precision engineering / manufacturing environment Relevant Engineering qualification Conversant with Engineering drawings and specifications. Good communication skills (written and verbal) Willing to work additional hours and travel to visit customers, occasionally at short notice. Good PC, time management and organizational skills.   Key responsibilities: Customer liason as required. Approval and submission of dimensional and metallurgical brochures Ensuring ongoing conformance to customer orders, drawings and specifications Corrective action reporting Producing clear and accurate written internal procedures as required. Carry out audits of suppliers, sub-contractors and internal audits. Project work as specified internally or to meet customer needs. Duties as defined / required by the business.
