Senior Electronics Engineer required in the South East. Our client is a market leader in electro-mechanical and optical systems. Due to expansion, they require a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their busy engineering development team. This role will be “hands on” as part of a highly motivated, multi-disciplined and dynamic R&D team. 

Candidate Profile:
Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in Electronics or Physics (with Electronics bias), you will have experience of the design of the electronic aspects of electro-mechanical products / motor control / motorised systems / positioning / power supply systems. 

Demonstrable use of circuit simulation techniques (Spice, Matlab, Mathcad), experience of using CAD. 
Experience in the fields of electronic hardware and micro-controller design. 
Design of digital electronic hardware and field programmable gate arrays (FPGA). 
Understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) techniques. 
Writing technical specifications and documentation. 
Design of analogue electronic hardware including basic SMPS design. 

As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, reporting to the Electronics Engineer Design Team Leader, you will be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, seeing projects through from initial customer driven conception to completion. This may involve occasional travel to external customers / suppliers when requested, and may also involve periods working offsite to aid integration of new products.
