Technical Placements Applicant Guide

Whether you are looking for the next step of your technical career, looking to change direction or even looking for your first job, registering with Technical Placements makes sense.

Whatever your skills and experience, we will endeavor to find you the job that is challenging, rewarding and right for you.

Even if we are not advertising a job that interests you immediately, it is worth registering with us. We are able to do the job searching for you and can let you know as soon as a suitable vacancy becomes available. Because we have close contact with many employers, we may be able to approach certain companies, on your behalf, who may be interested in your skills and experience.

Getting started
Registering is simple and free of charge.

The most important step is for you to forward a copy of your CV to us. This can be done via e-mail, upload to our web-site, fax or post (please see 'CV page' or 'contacts page').

Once we have received your CV (directly or via a job-board), and we have identified a suitable opportunity, we will give you a call. This will enable us to gain more knowledge about your skills and experience, your individual requirements and find out a little more about you. It also gives you an opportunity to get to know us and ask as many questions as you like regarding specific vacancies or the market in general.

Placing you!
Once we have gained all of the relevant information, we can begin. It may be that you have registered because of a specific job you have seen advertised. If so, assuming that we think your skills and experience match our client's expectations, we will forward your short-listed CV along with any other information that we can provide to help strengthen your application.

Should you be selected for interview, we will provide you with all the help required, to make sure you know where you are going, who you are seeing and will inform you of anything which might be relevant to the content of the interview.

After the interview, it is very important for you to let us know how it went. We will follow up the client for feedback on you. Your information about the interview is often crucial to this stage of the recruitment process. Should you be unsuccessful for example, it enables us to identify areas which can be worked on to improve your suitability for the next opportunity.
